Our Lessons

How Sweet the Sound Studios shares the beauty and joy of classical music through high quality private and group instruction.

Technical and musical achievement on one’s instrument is a top priority. Through multiple approaches, such as listening exercises, tone development, technical exercises, etudes, repertoire, theory, and small ensemble opportunities, students will discover the joy of playing music by themselves, and with others. Lessons are tailored to meet each student’s individual needs and desires.

We recognize and value the positive influence that music can have, particularly in the lives of the elderly. Using beauty and joy as our guides, we offer one-time and subscription concerts at Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care residences, as well as adult day centers. We also offer personalized, one-on-one concerts to those who are homebound, or otherwise unable to join us at one of our regular events. Concert programs are tailored to each unique audience.

Print Music

How Sweet the Sound Studios strives for excellent music to be available to all musicians, regardless of the instrument that they choose to play. Many of our sheet music selections are arrangements of classical works for the genre’s latest newcomer, the saxophone. Fueled by the desire to play works written before the saxophone was invented, music by composers such as Bach and Beethoven will be artfully arranged for saxophone players to enjoy.
